Course Description

This course is designed to prepare new signallers for the particular signalling system that they will operate. There are specific courses developed that should be applied for: AB IST, NX TCB IST and VDU TCB IST.  It also introduces them to the risk based competency system (Academy) that will record their competence through out their training and on going competence as a signaller.

Audience

New signallers who require any of the specific IST courses. These courses will be approximately 12 weeks in duration and prepare the candidates for the next stage of their training programme.
